Hosting
The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.), which processes technical request data (such as IP address, time of the request and browser type) to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. Cloudflare acts as my processor and may process data outside Switzerland and the EU, including in the United States, on the basis of standard contractual clauses.
Contact form
What is collected: your name, your e-mail address, your company (optional) and your message, plus the time of sending. To limit abuse, a one-way hash of your IP address is kept for one hour to count how many messages were sent; the IP address itself is not stored with your message.
Purpose and legal basis: I use these details only to answer your message and for any follow-up conversation you start. The basis is your consent, which you give with the checkbox in the form, and my legitimate interest in answering enquiries. You can withdraw your consent at any time by e-mail.
Processing and retention: the form is processed by a Cloudflare Pages Function. Your message is kept in Cloudflare's storage (Workers KV) for at most 30 days and then deleted automatically, and it is forwarded to my mailbox. I keep e-mail correspondence only as long as needed for the conversation and any legal retention obligations.
The details are not shared with anyone else and not used for newsletters or advertising.
If you email me directly, I use your message only to reply.
Your rights
You can ask for information about, correction or deletion of your data at any time by writing to [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority (in Switzerland the FDPIC).
